Easter

Easter was great for us this year. Low key not a ton of places to go. In the morning Matt found his and Seth's Easter basket. Our Easter bunny does not believe in lots of candy in the baskets, they bet books and other little odds and ends. One of Matt's favorites is little cereal boxes. He gets to choose what flavor we wants to eat in the morning making breakfast time much better in our house for the next week or so.

The Easter bunny also left some eggs at our house for collecting. Seth got to watch as Matt put them in his basket. The Easter bunny was rather tricky, he hid a new bike under the deck for Matt to find. Boy was he thrilled! Matt has gotten good at riding it around the block (with mom in toe, too many cars around). Most of April was crappy weather so we are hoping May is better because it really wears him out and he gets a good nap in the afternoon. Thanks Easter Bunny!

We also went over to Grampa Pattens house and got to play with all the toys and went for tractor rides. Grampa's girlfriend Becky was there too and she helped out with the Easter meal. It was fun to be around family for this holiday.

Happy Birthday Rob

Way back in the beginning of April Rob turned 35!!!That is like half way to 40! It does not seem possible for me to be married to anyone so OLD. But then again I am no spring chicken.
In many ways Rob is still young, he likes to help where ever he is needed. He helps people move, he helps kids have fun on four wheelers and works really hard for his family.

Matt was super excited it was his dads birthday. He helped me decorate the kitchen for the "party" (just us), with streamers and balloons Then we went outside to make a happy birthday sign out of chalk for dad to see when he got home (it was really big). I also made him lasagna for dinner, a rare delicacy.

When Rob got home from work he just rolled his eyes and said what is all this? Now for those of you not familiar with the Moss men, they hate any birthday attention and big fusses over just another day. Lucky for me Matt was in the other room and had not heard his dad come home from work yet. I looked at Rob and told him flat out to change his attitude because a certain little boy was thrilled his dad was having a birthday and worked hard on helping with the decorations. It wasn't about him anymore and he had the feelings of his kids to consider. He got the point and put on a happy party face and had a fun quiet evening with his family.

So here is a belated Happy Birthday to a swell guy, a great dad and a hard working hubby.
We love you!

Seth: 5 Months

Seth turned 5 months back in March. I still feel as if he has been apart of our lives forever. He is just a happy little guy. He has got just a magical smile and laugh. He rolled over for the first time from back to belly on March 22nd. Lucky he only does it once in a great while.

He is just a huge baby. Nothing like Matt was, he was long and skinny. Seth is long and round which makes for a heavy baby to carry. I don't think I have seen so many rolls on a baby. But a fat and happy , healthy baby is a good one to have.

Our happy little guy.

The " get in my belly" look.

Matt wanted his picture taken too.

More Fun In March / St. Patty's Sleep Over

One of the last things we did that week was go for pizza and fun. A nurf ball shooting area, bumper cars, and a small "giant drop". I think the adults just may have had more fun than the kids.

That night we had Jed sleep over and the next morning they woke up to this.

Little leprechauns had gotten into my house and left foot prints all over.
The St. Patty's day fun continued with green hair for the boys.

Seth and Clair decked out for the holiday.

Still Here!

We had a busy March. We had a great chance to go to Lego land and Betty Brinn Museum. Matt had so much fun playing with cousins in both adventures. Lego land had so many fun things to do, a small roller coaster and a 4-D movie theater (so cool). I had a great time looking at all the things they made out of legos. Matt had a great time racing cars.

Last stop Ikea. Moms fun place.

The next day we went to Betty Brinn with Morgan and Shelby. That place has changed for the better. Matt never gets tired of learning at his play. Seth has fun too, just in a very different way. He is a big trouper, getting lugged around place to place and still he is happy.

Matt is protecting his "family" of pine cones.
