Still Catching Up

Here are a few things we did during the first month. It is amazing to look back and see how much Matt has really grown! Here he is one month old, the little lady killer.

This is an updated picture of our growing family. Taken at the hospital when visiting Morgan.

See how well I can hold my head up already? Look out world here I come!

I got to go to my first Brewer game. It was the playoffs and mom & I got really good seats. I sleped through the whold game, all 4 hours and never woke up to eat.

See me? No car seat. It was better this way and Mom had a lot of fun getting out a little. Other than that I had a lot of visiters. I sleped, pooped and ate a lot. I also had my mom going crazy trieing to figure out how her new way of life was going to work. But I was a good baby from the start.

This is my first good blow out. I poop anywhere but my diaper. I had it down my leg, up my back and all over my cloths. We were out so I had to waite for my bath untill Later.

Dad is tring to hold Matt still for his first "bath" and having little luck. He never really cried too much.

Here is our stud after the bath lounging in his robe. Moms little peanut.

Quick Update

I know I promised another look in the history of Matthew next time I posted but I just had a fun weekend. I had an opportunity to be in Milwaukee's big Bridal Fashion show. My dance school was asked to fashion some of the bridesmaid dresses and promote dancing at the same time. It was a lot of fun. We were asked one week before the show and we had to practice what we would be doing on stage. At times it was quite interesting to make sure we didn't go falling off the stage and we almost had a few wardrobe malfunctions but all in all it went well, at least for only having a week to put it all together. We preformed 4 times, two each day, 4 different routines each run. I think each routine ended up being a little different each time by mistakes but no one knew. The worsted that happened was I got two big blisters on each big toe that popped, compared to falling off stage or having a dress fall off not a big deal. I had a blast!!!!

Playing Catdh Up

I am starting from the begining because I am really bad about getting pictures out to everyone.

This is about as big as I got. This was taken right before going to the State Fare, three weeks before the big day. Not as big as I could have gotten, but big enough (ALL BABY)

Matthew waited (as I had asked him to, what a good boy) until his due date. Granted it was 12:00 am the start of day of when things got going. He wasn't going to wait any longer! After 45 minutes of pushing out came my little angle, 7lbs. 14oz and 20 in long. He was so quiet I had to ask if he was ok!!

Mommy's first moments with baby. I was a little loopy I have fuzzy memories of this. I am glad someone took a picture of it. I it amazing to think my body created another human life. It is frightening to know you are incharge of that life and you have to take it home with you.

Daddy's first moments with Matthew. See that scared look in his eye? It is just starting to hit him. Rob was a big help during labor, he got me to the hospital just in time. He held my foot had coached me all the way to the last push. What great dad!!!!!!

Here is Matthew Aiden Moss all washed and cleaned and loved. He has been such a cutie from the start with long eyelashes. I hope to play catch up over the next few posts for those who live far away and never really got to see him yet. I hope you enjoy it.

Happy New Year!!!

It is the new year and I am glad things are starting to settle down form the holidays. After making a big deal for Matthews first Christmas, to having brunch in our small home and visiting all the family I am ready to get back to some sort of order.

Matthew is getting so big, he is rolling from is back to his belly only when he wants to but not all the time. His new favorite thing is to grab his toes and has started to put them in his mouth (yuck). Matt is working hard on sitting upo all by himself, before long I nwill be chasing him around the house. Yesterday we hade a first! Before when it was nap time he would go down for maybe 45 minutes and he was up again for hours (not enough sleep for a growing boy). Well yesterday I naped him on his belly and he was out for over 2 hours, I didn't know what to do with myself. I hope that continues from now on. Heres to wishing.

Rob is working so hard to provide for his little family. He is always excited to come home and spend time with Matt. Rob is the only one to get a lot of giggles from our son, i only get a few but Rob can get a bunch. I worry that he will be daddys best friend and have no time for mom. I would have to say Rob is a big help when it comes to Matthew and is a great Dad.

I am staying at home during the day and at night I go to work. I works out that we don't need a sitter (like we ciuld afford one) however it doesn't leave much time for Rob and Me. We need to try harder to make time for eachother. Beng a Mom is a full time job! Dirty diapers are my new specalty. I don't think I have an outfit Matt hasn't thrown up on, I am getting fast at dodging the little exersist.

Next time I sit down I will try to have some updated photos of all of us.
